We want patients to feel confident booking with us. This refund policy describes when refunds are available, what is not refundable, and how to submit a refund request. If you ever have a billing question, please email contact@medicalmarijuanacards.us with the subject line "Refund Request" — we read every message.
When you are eligible for a full refund
- Cancellation before your appointment. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled telehealth visit, you receive a 100% refund of our service fee.
- You are not certified by the physician for medical reasons. Many of our state pages show a "money-back guarantee if not approved." If a licensed physician completes your evaluation and determines you do not qualify under your state's program, you receive a refund of our service fee per the terms of the offer at the time you booked. Some states or specific physicians may have different rules; the booking page shows the rule that applies to your appointment.
- Technical failure on our side. If a verified technical issue with our platform prevented your appointment from happening, we either reschedule at no cost or refund in full.
When refunds are partial or denied
- No-show. If you do not appear for your scheduled appointment and did not cancel within the cancellation window, the appointment fee is forfeited. We will work with you to reschedule for a reduced rebooking fee.
- Late cancellation. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment are eligible for a partial refund (50%) at our discretion.
- You provided false information. If a physician determines that you knowingly provided false medical history, identity, or state of residence, the appointment fee is forfeited and we may suspend further service.
- You completed the evaluation and were certified. Once a physician issues a valid certification, the service has been delivered and the fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether you choose to complete your state registration.
What we cannot refund
Government and third-party fees
State medical marijuana program registration fees, ID-card printing fees, background-check fees, and any other amount paid directly to a state agency or third-party service are not refundable by us. Those payments are governed by the state's own refund rules. If you paid a state fee in error, contact the state agency directly.
How to request a refund
- Email contact@medicalmarijuanacards.us with the subject line "Refund Request."
- Include your full name, the email address used to book, the appointment date, and the reason for the request.
- If applicable, attach any documentation (for example, a screenshot of the technical issue).
Processing times
We typically acknowledge refund requests within 1 business day and complete approved refunds within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Most disputes can be resolved more quickly through email. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may be contested with documentation of the services rendered.
Updates to this policy
We may update this refund policy as our practices change. The version that applies to your appointment is the version in effect at the time of booking. Material changes are posted with an updated date at the top of this page.
